Description

As a proactive community health measure in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19), a decision has been made, where possible, to switch the face-to-face advisory sessions with other forms of communication including skype, zoom and phone. Your advisor will be in touch to discuss a suitable option. The current $20 fee per session will also be waived until 30 June 2020 to help those facing hardship.


The Southern Business Mentoring Program offers one hour one-on-one business advisory sessions.

Amanda Wood brings to this program, real-life experience as a business owner and manager. She was managing director of a complex, and significant-sized manufacturing services sector company for many years and led its considerable growth. She has provided her advice and support directly to hundreds of individual businesses in various roles since, including leading State and National business advisor teams as a Director of Commonwealth business improvement programs.

Amanda has also served on many business related boards or initiatives in a voluntary capacity; is a long-term business mentor with the South Australian Young Entrepreneur Scheme; was instrumental in the establishment of a Business Enterprise Centre in the South of Adelaide in the early 2000’s; has served on several significant business grant panels; and has an extensive business education, including a masters degree in Business Administration.
